Music for Learning the Three-Beat Weave

Music for Learning the Three-Beat Weave

When you’re learning the three-beat weave, whether it be with hoops or poi, it can be helpful to learn it to three beat music. Some slow waltz music is good but I have some personal favorites I thought I’d share. Here they are:

· “Kiss Of The Rose” Seal
· “Rainbow Connection” by Kermit the Frog
· “Moon River” Breakfast at Tiffany’s Soundtrack
· “Open Arms” by Journey
· “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music
. “Scarborough Fair” by Simon and Garfunkel
. “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones
. “What The World Needs Now” by The Carpenters
. “Take It To The Limit” by The Eagles
. “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin
. “I Feel Pretty” from West Side Story
. “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M.

There are probably a lot of others. If you have favorites, I’d love to hear them.

If you haven’t added the three beat weave to your bag of tricks yet, here is a tutorial I created to help you learn it with hoops. Enjoy!
